Here’s a Stolen Saturday idea that I got from Patricia at Subjective Soup. You might want to try this yourself because it might just give you a whole new perspective on yourself! Here are my responses:
Your rock star name (first pet, current car): Shadow Spectra
Your gangsta name (favorite ice cream flavor, favorite type of shoe): Vanilla Loafer
Your Native American name (favorite color, favorite animal): Purple Dolphin
Your Star Wars name (first 3 letters of your last name, first 2 letters of your first name): Barst
Your Superhero name (2nd favorite color, favorite drink): Blue Dew
Your NASCAR name (the first names of your grandfathers): Frank Julius
Your Dancer name (the name of your favorite perfume/cologne/scent, favorite candy): Gardenia Truffle
Your TV Weather anchor name (your 5th grade teacher’s last name, a major city that starts with same letter): Garrett Greenwich
Your Spy name (your favorite season/holiday flower): Autumn Daffodil
Your Cartoon name (favorite fruit, article of clothing you’re wearing right now): PJ Blackberry
Your Hippie name (what you ate for breakfast, your favorite tree): Cracker Elm
Your Movie (or porn) star name (most recent pet, first street where you lived): Bete Clueless [Sheesh, I can barely remember the LAST street I lived on let alone the first - though if I used that street name, I'd be Bete Magnolia]
Ah what fun...
Here I am...
Rock Star - Gigi Sedona
Gangsta Name - Chocolate Mint Gym
Native American Name - Blue Penguin (don't think they knew about penguins back in their day)
Soap Opera Name - Addison Ridge (hm... I'd make a great ski resort!)
Star Wars name - GLAKR (good thing there is a vowel in there
I am RED BEER the Superhero
Dancer - Beautiful Licorice ( hm...)
Weather name - Night Norwich
Spy Name - Fall Azalea
My pn name - Lily Lipman
It IS fun, isn't it. I'm so glad I stole it.
(Native Americans include the ones in Alaska)
I particularly like your Superhero name. I can imagine you swooping across lawns in the morning, sprinkling blue droplets all around to protect them from some horrible killer fungus.
I haven't been around in a while, so I don't know the proper protocol for asking questions. Is it still ok to submit one here in the comments section?
If so,
"How long did it take you to write each of your books? What was your inspiration? Did you follow a particular format (like writing an outline or making sure each chapter was perfect before moving on to the next or some other method)? How many queries (I think that's right) did you send out and what happened? What would you do differently, as far as getting one published, the next time?"
I'd be happy to clarify any question. You know where to find me.
Looking forward to your answers,
Davida
Yes, Davida, that's a perfectly fine place to post questions. I'll be tackling it momentarily.
This is fun! My superhero name is Blue Water, which is awesome. My NASCAR name is Clyde Carroll. I may do this on my blog!
It is a cool meme.
