Clarke; he had us with a full colon...Poor Arthur C. Clarke; he had us with a full colony on the Moon by now, and sending manned expeditions to Jupiter. He was very disappointed when NASA abandoned Moon exploration and concentrated on Earth orbit with the ISS and the shuttle program. I think he was right in his assessment of why we didn't meet his timetable - we had the technology, but we lacked the political will to follow up on it.
